About Us

eValid8 Corporation was founded in May of 2003 to solve an emerging and continuing problem within the IT auditing industry.  Mr. Brian Dilley, founder and CEO of eValid8, recognized there was an urgent need for an alternative source for IT auditing so that companies could save time and money, while improving their image and reputation.

Our mission is to further IT auditing practices and standards to ensure that trust, compliance, and operational practices are assessed in a comprehensive, consistent, and unbiased manner.  Our philosophy is simple; work with our clients in a professional, involved, committed, proficient, and goal-oriented way. We thoroughly understand that our success is directly linked to the quality of our services and products.  Therefore, our goal is to deliver the best product possible to our customers and to work with them to improve our products. We believe that the terms "lesson learned and industry best practices" are ambiguous and impotent if not applied the a project so we work with our customers on a daily basis to ensure our lessons learned are applied.

Only by understanding the issue at hand, adapting to our clients' environment, adjusting our understanding of the problem, correcting faults, applying our knowledge, and validating the quality of our services after each engagement can we succeed in our mission.

With over 26 years experience as an IT consultant and entrepreneur, I have assisted many organizations with their IT environment challenges. I have provided advisory and consultancy services for a diverse number of organizations, including Federal and state governments, private and public corporations.  My professional experience spans across many spectrums, such as large IT system acquisitions, global and national PKI / IT initiatives, security and privacy compliance auditing, policy writing, IT disaster/recovery/business continuity plans, and configuration management.  I enjoy meeting the challenges and helping our clients be recognized as the best because of our efforts to share our knowledge and experiences.

Mr. William C. Hoffman, Jr.  MBA/CIPP

Mr. Hoffman is a recognized Subject Matter Expert in the field of communications, cryptography, command and control systems with over 20 years of experience.  Mr. Hoffman has assisted programs for the Joint Military Command and Control/Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection programs and the Department of State.  Mr. Hoffman provides senior C and Flag Level executive consulting and briefing services to military officers and senior government officials.  His combination of his education, experience, and operational knowledge are invaluable assets when assisting our clients and their ever-changing Homeland Security regulations.
