eValid8® Corporation Awarded Exclusive Contract by Entrust Managed Services
eValid8® announced today that it has won a three-year contract with Entrust Managed Services to provide all PKI-related compliance auditing, certified information systems auditor functions, professional advisory services, and witnessing of scripted events to support the Entrust Managed Services portion of the $66 million contract awarded by the U.S. General Services Administration to the EDS team. The EDS team includes Northrop Grumman, L1 Identity Solutions to provide enrollment services, ActivIdentity to develop the card management software, Entrust to provide the public key infrastructure piece, and Oberthur Card Systems to supply the HSPD-12 compliant cards. Entrust will provide the core physical-to-electronic binding technology, PKI, for the secure identity management solution to be implemented in response to Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12.
